Day 1                          LAUNCESTON – CRADLE MOUNTAIN

 

Meet your guide at noon to start your journey
to UNESCO Word Heritage listed Cradle Mountain National Park. Enjoy an introduction
to this fascinating alpine environment before settling in at your deluxe
accommodation.

Day 2                           CRADLE MOUNTAIN AND DOVE LAKE

 

Your guide will introduce you to the many
endemic flora and ­fauna species of the region whilst enjoying picturesque
views on your walk beneath the spectacular craggy peaks of Cradle Mountain.

Day 3                           TASMANIAS EAST COAST – ST HELENS

 

Depart Cradle Mountain for the East Coast and the
internationally acclaimed Bay of Fires Conservation Area. On the way, stop at
the village of Pyengana, renowned for its artisan cheeses then stretch your
legs with a rainforest walk to St Columba Falls.

Day 4                           BAY OF FIRES RESERVE – FREYCINET
PENINSULA

 

This morning, explore the Bay of Fires
Reserve, one of the world’s great coastal regions. A walk along the granite
coastline will allow you to marvel at the colourful red and orange rocks lining
the white sandy beaches. Continue to the Freycinet Peninsula.

Day 5                           FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK – WINEGLASS BAY

 

Spend the day exploring the Freycinet National
Park’s granite mountains and white sandy beaches. Today you will visit

Day 6                           MARIA ISLAND – HOBART

 

Board the ferry and cross the Mercury Passage
to Maria Island. Enjoy a day of peaceful walking along historic ruins, sweeping

resident wombats and kangaroos!
