About Cradle Mountain Day Tour
Cradle Mountain National Park is a World Heritage Area renowned for its stunning beauty. Cradle Mountain itself rises 1545m above sea level and forms the back drop to Dove Lake. There are many walking options at Cradle Mountain and with around 5 hours to spend in the National Park our guides will help you make the most of this fantastic day with a series of great short walks before trekking off around Dove Lake or climb to loftier peaks at Marion’s Lookout for some amazing World Class views and photographs!
En-route from Launceston to Cradle Mountain we enjoy a short stop and a quick explore at the very quirky Sheffield. A small town, with an amazing mountain setting, and some even more amazing murals painted on the buildings of the town. With over 60 murals depicting the history and natural beauty of the area, we think this is top spot to have look around and grab a coffee before continuing onwards to the distant mountains.
Our aim at Cradle Mountain is to give you the best walking experience we can fit into the day, based on your fitness, interests and the weather conditions on the day. We leave our itinerary here open and flexible and in the hands of our experienced guides to work with you, as a small group, for an unforgettable Cradle Mountain experience.
