Climbing in Tasmania

Tasmania is one of Australia's premium climbing destinations with amazing places to climb all over the state including the Mt Wellington, Freycinet, the Tasman Peninsula, Hillwood and Cataract Gorge.

Tasmania has a thriving sports climbing scene with plenty of bolted routes across a variety of grades. If you want to get the most out of climbing in Tasmania then it's well worth bringing a full rack of trad gear with a number of long 50m + routes available throughout the state.
