General Terms
All Cradle Mountain Canyons customers must complete a waiver of liability form before coming on any tour. Cradle Mountain Canyons reserves the right to refuse to take any person on a tour based on an assessment of their physical fitness. However, we offer trips designed to cater for a range of abilities and ages. Please call 1300 032 384 if you have any concerns or questions about which of our trips would best suit you.

Please let us know if you have any preexisting injuries or medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate on a tour. If you need to bring medications with you, we can carry them in our waterproof first aid kit.

Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements if you are coming on the Dove Canyon tour.

National Parks fees are not included in your ticket price. Please purchase passes before coming on a tour.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made within 7 days of booking arrival date incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with more than 7 days notice may incur an administration charge of 30% of total booking fee.

We strongly encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance, including ambulance cover, to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

Cradle Mountain Canyons reserves the right to cancel any tours at any time due to unsafe weather conditions. In this case, customers will be given the choice of an alternate tour or a full refund.

Cradle Mountain Canyons PTY LTD takes all reasonable precautions possible to secure your credit card details and to protect that information from misuse or loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. We do not share this information with any third party and we will not identify your credit card details to any organisation or individual other than the clearance organisation.

Your details will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided them and will not be added to a marketing list for distribution to others, unless agreed by you. We will not disclose individually identifiable information to any third party for any purposes. This means that your e-mail address, your name and any other personal details you may provide will not be passed on or sold to any company for any reason.

Tour Description

If you are after an unforgettable experience in Tasmania, you have come to the right place. The Dove Canyon showcases wild Tasmania at its best. This trip involves a thrilling combination of jumps, slides and abseils buried in a 50 metre deep quartzite canyon. Definitely one to write home about. Canyoning is one of the best ways to explore the secret side of Tasmania's world heritage area and the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park.

The Dove Canyoning day tour takes you deep into the canyons along the Dove River. The Dove Canyon tour has a number of amazing water features including a number of waterfall jumps or abseils, the highest being 7 meter waterfall jump. This tour also features the Laundry Chute, a 10 metre natural waterslide that takes you through a cave before landing in a large deep pool of water.

The Dove Canyon tour is done with some of the most experienced outdoor and wilderness guides in Australia with years of experience in both Australia and Overseas.

This tour is for the adventurous and intrepid. You do not need any previous canyoning or abseiling experience, but we recommend customers are physically fit, MUST be able to swim and have a great sense of adventure. The minimum age for this tour is 15.
